Elia organises information session for local residents

Elia will soon be undertaking work on the high-voltage line (70kV) between the Baasrode (Buggenhout) and Malderen (Londerzeel) high-voltage substations. An information session will be held on Thursday, 9 November to inform local residents about the work.

Dismantling existing overhead line and laying underground cable

 The high-voltage power line (70kV) between the Baasrode (Buggenhout) and Malderen (Londerzeel) high-voltage substations has reached the end of its service life. Elia is therefore replacing the overhead line with a new underground electricity cable (150kV) and upgrading the Baasrode high-voltage substation.

Information session on 9 November 2023

At the information session, Elia will provide more information about the purpose and timetable of the project and the potential disruption. The project's managers will be on hand to answer any questions.

The information session will take place onThursday, 9 November 2023, between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., at the Parochiecentrum Nicolaas (Jachtweg 1, 9255 Buggenhout).
