Commissioning of the 70kV line
On 19 December 2022, the 70kV line of the new East Loop Step 2 line project between Trois-Ponts and Bronrôme was commissioned, thereby connecting the Brume and Trois-Ponts substations to the Bévercé and Heid-de-Goreux substations.
Significant work was also conducted in the substations of Brume, Coo and Trois-Ponts.
Despite difficulties arising these last three years and external constraints, transforming the East Loop Step 2 project into an extraordinary undertaking, the teams managed to complete the “substation” and “line” projects within the allotted timeframe. Bravo to them! This closes an important stage of the project.
The final stretch
Before the completion of works in the Bévercé substation and commissioning the second line (110kV) between the Trois-Ponts and Bévercé substations, major overhaul, replanting and revalorisation of biodiversity works will be carried out on the line, in the course of 2023.
In parallel, dismantling, demolition and finishing works will be carried out at the Trois-Ponts and Brume substations.
