Restart of high-voltage line dismantling works
As from the start of July 2022, Elia is starting the dismantling of the high-voltage line between Massenhoven and Poederlee. The works were temporarily postponed due to unexpected circumstances. The dismantling of the high-voltage line is taking place in various different phases. The end of the works is planned for the start of August 2023.
Restart of works
The dismantling of the high-voltage line between Massenhoven and Poederlee was temporarily postponed. This was due to a shortage of technical staff at the contractor. At Elia’s request, the urgent work for the energy transition was carried out first.
Works in phases
Elia is starting the dismantling of the high-voltage line as from the beginning of July 2022. This is being done in several phases. The works will continue until the start of August 2023.
- Phase 1: municipalities of Lille and Vorselaar
As from the start of August 2022 to the end of October 2022, the high-voltage line will be dismantled starting from the Poederlee high-voltage substation located at the intersection of Zielestraat and Heide in Lille. This work will continue along the route up to and including the high-voltage pylon by Boskant, just on the border between Vorselaar and Zandhoven. - Phase 2: municipalities of Zandhoven and Ranst
According to the current schedule, the high-voltage line will be dismantled in the course of 2023 starting from the high-voltage pylon by Boskant, just on the border between Vorselaar and Zandhoven. These works will continue up to and including the high-voltage pylon by the carpool parking area situated at the Oelegem slip road complex (no. 19) between the E34 and Zandhovensesteenweg.
