Change in planning for work on high-voltage line
The planning for the dismantling of the high-voltage line (150kV) between Massenhoven and Poederlee has been changed. Work on the high-voltage line will start in early August and continue until the end of 2022.
Dismantling of the high-voltage line in two phases
Elia will start dismantling the high-voltage line (150kV) between Massenhoven and Poederlee in early August. This line has reached the end of its service life and is being dismantled. The work will happen in several phases.
- Phase 1: municipalities of Ranst, Zandhoven and Vorselaar
Work will be carried out on the high-voltage line between August 2022 and October 2022. It will take place from the high-voltage pylon located at the carpooling car park, located at the Oelegem slip road complex (no. 19) between the E34 and Zandhovensesteenweg, to the high-voltage pylon located at the intersection of the Heirbaan and Rommelzwaan in Lille (in the province of Antwerp).
- Phase 2: municipalities of Vorselaar and Lille
From September 2022 until November 2022, work will take place from the high-voltage pylon at the intersection of the Heirbaan and Rommelzwaan to the Poederlee high-voltage substation, located at the intersection of Zielestraat and Heide in Lille (in the province of Antwerp).
Elia will keep local residents informed of any new changes to the planning.
