Public consultation for the submission of a proposed general derogation from Regulation (EU) 2016/631 establishing a network code on requirements for grid connection of generators
Topic
Public consultation on Amended Channel Long Term Nomination Rules for Physical Transmission Rights.
Context
This network code stipulates that all power-generating modules with a connection point voltage greater than or equal to 110 kV shall comply with the requirements for type D power-generating modules. As previously announced, Elia plans to introduce a request for a general derogation to reduce the requirements for these modules to the requirements for type A modules when their power is limited to 1 MW and to the requirements for type B modules when their power is limited to between 1 and 25 MW. Elia wishes to receive technical and financial arguments from producers to flesh out the cost-benefit analysis in favour of such a derogation.
Period
The consultation period will extend from 23 April 2019 to 22 May 2019.
