Soil testing

In order to gather information on the state of the soil at the potential locations where the Boucle du Hainaut infrastructure would be built, Elia wishes to carry out soil tests from October 2023.

From August onwards, Elia representatives will contact the owners of the affected plots directly to explain the process in more detail and to ask for their permission to carry out the tests.

These tests are being carried out on Elia's initiative and their results will be used to complete the internal preparation of the technical files. They are complementary to the administrative procedure currently under way, concerning the request for inclusion of a reservation perimeter in the sector plans.
