On Tuesday 2 February 2021, Elia organised a digital information session about the Mercator-Bruegel project.

During a presentation, employees explained the project: its purpose, timing, the work and the measures that will be taken to minimise the impact on the environment. Viewers were given the opportunity to ask questions via a chatbox. At the end of the information session, the most frequently asked questions were explained orally. Questions that could not be answered immediately will be clarified by Elia by phone or e-mail. Over 130 people took part in the digital information session.
