Excavation work on Begonialaan 

On Monday 13 June, Elia is starting excavation work on Begonialaan for laying a high-voltage cablev between Buizingen en Oostkerk.

Minimising disruption

Elia and the contractor are making every effort to minimise the disruption. Residents will always have access to their homes during this period and the waste collection will take place according to the normal procedure. From 13 June, a changed traffic situation will apply on Begonialaan.

• For cyclists and pedestrians, Begonialaan remains accessible in both directions.
• For vehicles, a parking ban over the whole length of the street in both directions.
