Origin and goal

The ambitious European vision in terms of decarbonisation will lead to 50% more electrification in Belgium by 2032. Therefore, in 2023, the president of the plenary established The horizontal electricity system think tank with the aim of creating (mutual) understanding, exchanging ideas and co-creating the future of the horizontal electricity system in the interest of society.

Organisation

James Matthys-Donnadieu, the chairman of the plenary meeting will co-chair The horizontal electricity system think tank with Professor Leonardo Meeus.
Professor Leonardo Meeus has been designated as an independent and neutral co-chair. He will help set the agenda and moderate the discussions. The secretary is Jessie Moelans.
