Laying of underground cables: changes to traffic rules on Dendermondsesteenweg in August
We have been laying new 36 kV cables between the Sint-Amandsberg and Flora substations since May. From 4 August, we will be working under Dendermondsesteenweg, which will temporarily become a one-way road from Ghent to Destelbergen. The works will continue until 31 August and are purposely taking place in the summer to minimise disruption.

A lot of interest in information market in Ghent
We organised an info market in Ghent to update approximately 40 interested parties about the 36-kV cable to be laid between Flora (Merelbeke) and Kwatrecht/Melle.

Information session in Ledeberg attracts thirty attendees
Elia, the operator of Belgium's high-voltage grid, held an information session on Wednesday, 19 June at the Buurthuis community centre in Ledeberg, where it informed some 30 local residents about the installation of the underground 36-kV high-voltage cables between Flora (Merelbeke) and Sint-Amandsberg.

Info market in Wetteren attended by more than thirty people
Elia, the high-voltage grid operator, held an info market in the Wetteren municipal hall in the evening of Tuesday, 4 June, about the laying of the 36kV underground high-voltage cables between Kwatrecht (Melle) and Wetteren. More than thirty interested local residents dropped in at the info market.
