Samples to be taken

Given the underground line project that is due to take place between the Ruien and Chièvres substations, we need to collect soil samples and carry out surveys of the land which stretches across the affected municipalities.

These activities are not connected to our application for a permit for the project (which is currently being examined) and do not in any way constitute the start of any project work.

The aim of such activities will be to supplement the technical information we already hold by: 

• checking the location of utilities which are onsite
• collecting soil samples that will be analysed:

- for the soil quality report (Walterre);

- for the technical preparation of the site.

These activities will be carried until the end of June 2022.
