Information session about access during the work on Maldersesteenweg

The Belgian high-voltage system operator Elia and the Londerzeel municipal authorities are holding an information session on Tuesday 26 February to discuss the work that will be carried out on Maldersesteenweg, between Broekstraat and Sint-Jozefstraat, in Londerzeel.

Diversion for through traffic

Elia is due to begin laying a 150 kV underground cable connection there in mid-March, with work set to continue until July according to the current schedule. While the work is going on, through traffic will be diverted between Malderen and Sint-Jozef.

Elia project team on hand to answer questions

Project managers representing Elia and the contractor carrying out the work will be at the information session to answer questions about the diversion, access to residences, and the exact schedule for the work. They will also be able to provide information about the broader context of the work.

The information session will be held in the Gerard Walschap community centre at Sint-Jozefstraat 44. Interested parties can drop in any time between 7.00 p.m. and 8.30 p.m.
