Partial closure of Beekstraat starting in early June 2020

• Installation of conduits in the road surface

In early June 2020 Elia will resume installing underground cables in Beekstraat. Conduits will be installed between house numbers 20 and 98. Electricity cables can then be pulled through these conduits at a later stage. The work will last until late June 2020. Elia will temporarily restore the roadway at the end of this stage.

• Partial closure of Beekstraat

During the works, Beekstraat will be completely closed off to through traffic between house numbers 20 and 98. Local traffic will still be possible. Homes in Beekstraat located outside the worksite zone can be reached via diversions along Westdijk and Tisseltstraat.

• Temporary diversion of De Lijn buses

Bus line 260 will be diverted during the works. The De Lijn bus company will not be able to serve certain stops on the current route. In Tisselt the Wolvenstraat and School bus stops will not be served. In Ramsdonk, the Kerk, Broek, Notenstraat and Beekstraat bus stops will not be served. De Lijn will provide temporary stops at the church in Tisselt (in both directions) and in Bormstraat by Gemeenteplein (in both directions).
