Public consultation on "Proposal for the exemption from the obligation to procure upward and downward balancing capacity for aFRR separately"

Elia would like to invite you to participate in the formal public consultation regarding the following proposal towards CREG: “Proposal for the exemption from the obligation to procure upward and downward balancing capacity for aFRR  separately”.

Context

In order to better understand the reasoning behind this proposal, the stakeholders are invited to read chapter 3.4 of the study on “separate procurement of FCR and aFRR products” performed by Elia. This study has already undergone public consultation and is used as the explanatory document for the current proposal.


Period

The consultation period of the “Proposal for the exemption from the obligation to procure upward and downward balancing capacity for aFRR  separately” starts on 9 October 2018 and ends on 10 November 2018.
