News Braine-l’Alleud–Oisquercq

The municipality of Braine-l'Alleud is organising a project announcement as part of the Elia project. Specifically, this involves a change to the installation technique over a very limited section of the route of the underground connection (+/- 300 m). The route itself remains unchanged.

As part of the permit application procedure, once the file submitted by Elia has been deemed complete, the entire file may be consulted by the municipal authorities affected by the project, in accordance with the procedures below.

In order to fulfil one of our main missions and develop a reliable electricity network, while contributing to the country's electricity supply security, Elia submitted a permit application at the end of October 2023 for the laying of a new 150kV underground line between Braine-l'Alleud and Oisquercq.
