Preparations ahead of the construction phase

Now that the permit has been issued, Elia is making preparations for the construction phase, which will see the new underground connection laid before the current overhead line is dismantled.

Anyone affected by the construction site, its access routes or storage areas, will be contacted directly by an Elia representative to prepare the site in consultation with each owner or operator of the affected cadastral parcels. 

Once the site has been prepared in consultation with these parties, Elia will commence the works. Communication will take place once the provisional schedule has been confirmed.
