For worksite-related reasons, and following new requests from other parties, a number of improvements have been and are yet to be made to optimise the useful life of the highway and public infrastructure already in place (water supply piping, for example).

From 6 May 2024, a new diversion will be in place from Rue Fayt in Hanzinelle and Rue du Sommet in Hanzinne in order to minimise inconvenience to road users from the work site. 

In view of the deterioration in the existing two-way diversion and to ensure the safety of motorists and other road users, a new diversion has been in place since 1 December 2023, from rue Donveau in Hanzinelle and rue du Sommet in Hanzinne.

At the request of the town of Florennes, and to ensure motorists’ and other road users’ safety, all traffic passing through the worksite zone outside working hours will now be prohibited; only local residents will continue to have access to their homes.

In accordance with current legislation, the works are being coordinated with other utilities (ORES, Luminus and Proximus) to ensure that all public works are carried out simultaneously in order to limit their impact on your mobility and living environment as much as possible.
