Modifications ARP Contract–Strategic Reserve
Context
Elia will formally consult the market players on proposed modifications to the ARP Contract. The changes to this contract are required to put into place the strategic reserve foreseen by the Act of 29 April 1999 organizing the electricity market. The purpose of the consultation is to receive any remarks that the relevant market players affected by the proposals might have. All responses received in this connection will be passed on to the regulators at the time of the official request for approval to change the ARP Contract.
Period
The consultation period for modifications to the ARP Contract runs from June 13rd 2014 to July 11st 2014.
Responses can be sent to Elia until July 11st 2014, 18:00 at the following e-mail address: consultations@elia.be.
These reactions (with names) will be included in the official application file for approval of the changes to the ARP contract to be sent to the regulatory authorities.
Elia foresees a consultation report made available to the market players. If the market players so request, their responses will be handled anonymously in this consultation report.
In connection with this formal consultation, Elia has communicated the useful information to the Users’ Group, during its Plenary Meeting of 5 June 2014.
