Chemin des Papillons once again lives up to its name
Since the planting carried out in Seraing following works and deforestation, the forest edge is taking shape and becoming more diverse. Tall, medium and low stems, flower-filled meadows, shrubs... Native plants are thriving, bringing butterflies and pollinating insects back to the site.
With the invaluable help of experts such as O’jardin, from the Department of Nature and Forests, and ecologists from CSD Ingénieurs, we will monitor the site season by season and adapt certain areas if necessary.
See you this autumn for the next update! Until then, enjoy your walks along Chemin des Papillons!

Systematic restoration of the site after works
We would like to remind you that, as part of all our projects, sites are systematically restored after works are completed. No section is exempt from this rule! Areas where work is currently underway will also be restored. There too, support from the experts overseeing the Elia project is guaranteed. We will keep you informed.
